Do the download buttons point to the latest versions?
On page load a version manifest is fetched and each download button is rewritten to the latest release. If the request fails, buttons keep the pre-set fallback links stored on this site, which still work fine — the version may just be slightly older, and you can update through the client's built-in update check after installing.
Should I download the x64 or arm64 installer on Windows?
The vast majority of desktops and laptops use Intel or AMD processors, so choose x64. Only Windows devices with ARM processors such as Snapdragon need arm64. If unsure, open Settings → System → About and check the "System type" field.
macOS says the app is damaged or from an unidentified developer. What now?
This is Gatekeeper's default block on apps distributed outside the App Store and does not mean the package is broken. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, find the blocked app in the Security section and click "Open Anyway". If it says the app is damaged, run the following command in Terminal to remove the quarantine attribute, then relaunch the app:
xattr -cr /Applications/AppName.appClash for Windows is discontinued. Can I keep using it?
It can serve as a short-term bridge, but the project is no longer maintained: bugs and security issues will not be fixed, and newer subscription fields or rule types may not be recognized. We recommend migrating to Clash Plus or Clash Verge Rev soon — simply re-import your existing subscription link in the new client, no changes to the subscription itself are needed. See the tutorial for import steps.
Should I pick the deb or rpm package on Linux?
Choose deb for Debian, Ubuntu, Linux Mint and related distributions; choose rpm for Fedora, RHEL, openSUSE and similar. Arch-based distributions can get packaged builds from the AUR, or download the Mihomo core binary and run it with a config file.
